"If your hair is done properly and you're wearing good shoes, you can get away with anything." —Iris Apfel

Let's get OUAI-sted.

Te are so many recommendations about haircare that can leave me overwhelmed and want to channel an inner Britney Spears circa 2007.

Gigi Hadid swears by leaving coconut oil in her hair for days on end, and Gwenyth Paltrow uses the same oil on her hair as she does on her face. Seeing as I'm not a supermodel with an endless budget or three days to spare with greasy hair, here are three products I use on the reg to keep my hair as fresh and healthy as possible.

1. Dry Shampoo. Whether I've overslept my alarm and I'm in a rush to class or my hair is looking flat, dry shampoo is a blonde's best friend. It can help to space out washes which is better for your hair, and I find that it actually makes my hair look blonder. Win win. This is my favorite kind.

2. Wide Tooth Comb. To avoid breakage after a shower when your hairs are at their most fragile, a wide tooth comb is your best weapon. Start at the ends and work your way up to the roots, and save your brush for when your hair is totally dry.

3. Wave Spray. For a girl with hair that is straight as a board, I try whatever I can do to add some spice to my locks whenever I can. A couple spritzes of this wave spray give me just the subtle wave I'm looking for that stays in all day without weighing my hair down. Summer hair in the winter... done!

Which three products are your go-to tools when it comes to taking care of your hair? Let me know in the comments!

Xx,

M.L.F.
